Little Mountain Soul - Illustration

An experimental piece based on a hypothetical kids' book concept. I wanted to see how I felt about painted backgrounds paired with lined, simply shaded characters, something akin to an old school animated movie. I'm not sure exactly how I feel about it, but I'd be interested in exploring the method further. I like drawing dragons; I think I'll start drawing more mythological beasties.
